People frequently ask me what exactly is fine art photography? To me, what distinguishes fine art photography from other fields in photography is that fine art photography is not about digitally recording a subject. I use the camera as a starting point, to direct the viewer's attention to my point of view of the subject. Sometimes, the image remains largely photographic, while other times, I create digital paintings, almost indistinguishable from oil on canvas. I love to take commissions for fine art work to fulfill your artistic vision!
